Current TYG carpet add-on prices
When added to an eligible cleaning booking, the current guide is: Studio $170, 1 bedroom $190, 2 bedrooms $240 and 3 bedrooms $280. A standalone carpet booking has a $249 minimum. All amounts are AUD.
Why it is priced separately
A regular cleaning contractor can carry standard cleaning supplies, but steam cleaning requires a suitable machine, transport, setup, extraction and drying time. Equipped contractor availability is also more limited. Separate pricing prevents the general cleaning quote from hiding that cost.
What to confirm before booking
Tell TYG how many carpeted bedrooms and whether carpet also appears in the lounge, hallway or stairs. Send photos of visible stains and ask the property manager if they require a receipt or particular treatment. Stain removal can improve the result, but no cleaner can promise every stain will disappear.
Where prices are mentioned, this guide uses TYG Cleaning’s published rates reviewed on 11 August 2026. The final price depends on the written condition-based scope.
